Mother had a busy day sewing today, and I finally got an Easter dress!
Easter was ages ago now, but better late than never!
Here are some photos of me wearing my new dress.
It was made with the simplified bodice from the Tokyo Libby Blossom Dress from Liberty Jane. It's a really pretty pattern, and fits well, except that a bit had to be added on to the back bodice pieces so they would join at the back.
There are also some photos of flowers from our garden, and none of the photos have been edited yet, but I think they look okay without it.
Which photo do you like best?

Long time, no see
Hey there, everyone!
Sorry I haven't posted in so long, my life has been very busy.
Another one of my sisters (who lives in America right now) will hopefully be coming to live here in Australia with Melody and I later this year.
I'm currently helping Mother design and sew a new clothing line for Winter to sell in her Etsy shop. I've come up with some really great designs so far, and it's going to be so nice to see them once they're all made up.
Winter is definitely not my favourite time of year and far as fashion goes, because everything seems so drab and boring compared to spring and summer. In warmer weather, you can wear pretty floral sundresses and such, but in winter it seems I get stuck with wearing long-sleeved dark-coloured dresses underneath my grey woolen coat. It's quite a sad fact, really.
After our winter clothing line has come out, I'm going to be designing one for spring and summer, which I'm sure will be a lot prettier and more fun.
What kind of clothes would you like to buy from our shop?
Please let me know in the comments!

Whoa! I haven't posted for like, months. Sorry about that :/
Again, school and dance practise.
Sooo, I turned 13 on August 22, yippee!
I got:
An AG doll (finally!), Felicity Merriman
Some orange ballet flats
A new practise dress
Pictures coming later for those.
Melly finally had enough money for Elizabeth, so she has her now. Elizabeth is such a cutie, her and Felicity are B.F.F's.
Hang on, let me post a pic of them together….

There we go. Aren't they just adorable? This one is from a photo-shoot Mother and I did with the dolls a while ago. I'll post the rest another time.
But before my birthday, I went with Mother to visit her Grandparents in VIC. It was lots of fun, and I have photos of that as well, but I'll post them later.
After my birthday, Mother had an Irish dance concert. I didn't get to go see it, but she showed me the video and photos from it. I loved her costume! She had a purple velvet top with fluttery sleeves, a black satin skirt, a silver tiara and black tights.
Not a lot has happened since then. My best friend isn't here right now, he's on holiday (for six weeks, grrrr…), but he'll be back in a couple more weeks. I keep telling myself, just two more weeks and you'll see him again, now one week and 6 days, etc. So, yeah. Time's been passing pretty slowly lately.
I'm starting tap lessons next year, which will be tons of fun! I can't wait! Mother's going to order me some tap shoes at some stage soon so I'll have them for when I start.
Oh yeah, and at the start of July, I went to an English Country Dancing ball with my friends, we all had lots of fun together (pics of my ball gown coming soon as well.)! I saw Josefina, Julie, Marie-Grace and Saige there. We had a great time, except that poor Marie-Grace lost her fan :(
Anyway, I'd better go now.
Ttyl!

Park Princess
Hi everyone!
Well, I finally got time to do another post on my blog. I've been so busy with school and dance practice that I haven't really had time for much else lately!
Just over a week ago, we went to the park for a picnic. I wanted to play fashion models, so Mother took along a camera to take some photos of me. Which do you like best?
Love,

Do you like the lighting on this one? it was actually not meant to be like that, but I think it turned out really nice!

Queen of the Fall! (It's winter now, but there are still leaves everywhere.) |
(The special effect on this one was achieved by throwing leaves across the camera at the last minute. It took a few goes to get it as good as we wanted though!)

Fashion Friday, Week 3-Cozy and casual winter outfits
Hi all,
Last week was so hectic that I didn't end up posting Fashion Friday! I'm really sorry about that, I was just so busy! Anyway, let's get started, shall we?
1. American Girl Doll Clothes 18'' Pleated Houndstooth Skirt and Ruffle Brown Knit Shirt from My Dressed Up Doll. I really like this outfit, because I think it goes together really well, but can also be used separately to mix and match with other things you already have.
2. Slouch Cardigan, Plaid Skirt & T-Shirt Outfit For American Girl Or Similar 18-Inch Dolls
P.S. There may be a shortage of posts for a while, as I had photos ready but the SD card went walkabout and now I can't find it :( sorry! I really hope it turns up soon!

2. Slouch Cardigan, Plaid Skirt & T-Shirt Outfit For American Girl Or Similar 18-Inch Dolls
from Angel Kisses Boutique. This is just adorable, is it not? The cardigan would look great with some jeans, too!
3. 18" American Girl Doll Clothes - Green Wool Winter Coat
from Sew Exquisite One. Sew cute! It reminds me of Nellie. Even though this is more of a historical/vintage outfit, I would definitely still wear it!
4. American Girl Doll Clothes, Red and White Pleated Skirt Outfit with accessories.
From Button And Bow Boutique. What a cute way to dress up a plain shirt! I love how they did the shaped ruffle and red flower, it really ties it in with the skirt.
5. Doll Coat for American Girl 18" Doll Knit Taupe Coat with Black Fur Hooded Jacket Toy. From Snowflake Boutique. This coat is not only super adorable, but also looks very soft and warm! I love the furry trim.
6. American Girl Camouflage Snowflake 4 Piece Christmas Set - Skirt, Shirt, Ruffle Scarf, Headband
From Aunt Sissy Originals. What more can I say about this outfit? I love the lacy scarf, and the fact that green is a pretty yet neutral colour that goes with almost everything, so again, you could mix and match all of these pieces.
Well, folks, that's it for this week of fashion Friday! Check back next time, when I'll be looking at vintage inspired clothing.
Au Revior!

Fashion Friday, Week 2-Perfect Party Dresses
Hi everyone!
Welcome to the second week of Fashion Friday. Sorry this is a bit late, I was out and about all day yesterday and didn't have time to post it! There are a lot of different items this week, because I found so many perfect party dresses that it was hard to decide which ones to put on! Anyway, let's get to it.
Welcome to the second week of Fashion Friday. Sorry this is a bit late, I was out and about all day yesterday and didn't have time to post it! There are a lot of different items this week, because I found so many perfect party dresses that it was hard to decide which ones to put on! Anyway, let's get to it.
1. 1950s Vintage Doll Dress. Isn't this simple dress just stunning? I love vintage style, and this would look rather nice on Janet with her blue eyes (don't tell her I told you so!). This beautiful creation is from Jessica's Doll Closet.
2. American Girl Doll Clothes Satin Dress for Flower Girl or Wedding with Bubble Skirt and Pearl Rosette Top / Customisable Sash with Big Bow. The bubble skirt and beautiful fabric makes this dress really stand out from the crowd! You can even choose what colour sash you want. What a great idea! This fabulous dress is from My Dressed Up Doll.
3. American Girl silk special occasion dress and headband. Now this is a dress I really love! It would go perfectly with my grey eyes, no? I love the flower accent on the waistband. And it even comes with a matching headband! This lovely ensemble is from Doll Petite Couture.
4. American Girl Doll Clothes Christmas Fancy Holiday Dress and Gold Satin Hairbow - 18'' Doll Dress. This looks almost exactly like the Brocade Holiday Dress from AG. I really liked the design and colour, and the polka dotted fabric they used here is even nicer! I also like that it comes with a matching hair bow. This perfect dress is also from My Dressed Up Doll.
5. American Girl Doll Clothes Christmas Dress - Fancy Holiday Dress - Custom Color Choices Available! - 18'' Lace Dress with Cream Satin Bow. I really like these dresses as well! The design is quite similar to number 4, but also unique. It's so cool how you can choose either emerald or wine colour. I think wine would probably look nice on Melody, with Emerald for me. What do you think? This beautiful dress is from My Dressed Up Doll, too!
6. American Girl Doll Clothes Flower Girl or Wedding Satin Dress with Beaded Halter Top, and Pickup Skirt / Customisable Sash with Big Bow. I love this one almost as much as number 2. The "Pickup" skirt is really pretty, and has been done well so that the fabric still drapes nicely. It looks very well made, and can't imagine all the time and effort that would've gone in to making it look this lovely! This gorgeous dress is, you guessed it, from My Dressed Up Doll.
7. American Girl Doll champagne lace dress 18 inch doll clothes. I love the big bow at the back of this one, and all of the pretty lace trimmings! Obviously the main feature of the dress is the bow and trimmings at the back, very much like an old-fashioned "Bustle" dress. This amazing gown is from Love Ellie Bean (yes, another of my favourite shops!)
This week I happened to feature a number of dresses from My Dressed Up Doll! Rather funny, because I barely noticed what shops the outfits were from until I did this post. They make some amazing party dresses, so please check out their shop especially.
I hope you enjoyed this week of Fashion Friday. Please come again next week, where I'll be looking at some nicer casual winter outfits.
Bye!
P.S. The photos in this post have been lightly edited with Picmonkey, so they may not look exactly the same (colour and lighting wise) as the pictures in the original listings. Please know that this editing was only done to make the pictures look a little fancier and better for my blog, not because I did not like the original ones or anything like that.

Out for lunch
On Sunday, I went out for lunch after church with my cousins to a restaurant. I got some vanilla ice-cream with strawberry topping, and had fun mixing it in and making ice-cream soup. It turned out a really nice colour, actually!
